In 2016, Fox Bros.’ original owners, Pat and Lori Fox, wanted to give back to the team members that made Fox Bros. successful – so they decided to sell the company back to the employees – making Fox Bros. 100% employee owned. Because of this, participants in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) share in the success of Fox Bros. Each year participants are distributed shares at no cost – if they work a minimum of 1,000 hours throughout the calendar year – which is about 20 hours per week. The more hours worked – the more shares earned – the larger the ESOP account!

Unlike your 401(k), participation in the ESOP has no cost to you and is a free benefit of being a team member at Fox Bros. Each year, team members have the opportunity to earn shares (for free) that go towards their own ESOP account. As the value of Fox Bros. increases, so do the accounts of the employee owners.
You earn a year of vested service for each Plan Year you work 1,000 hours
Your vested percentage is determined based on your years of vested service and the vesting schedule:
1 year of service as a plan participant – 0% vesting
2 years of service as a plan participant – 20% vesting
3 years of service as a plan participant – 40% vesting
4 years of service as a plan participant – 60% vesting
5 years of service as a plan participant – 80% vesting
6 years of service as a plan participant – 100% vesting
